  1. Posite is great. but I Have a question.
My main postie categorie makes images 450 wide and 337 height. Now I would like The image to be 225 wide when they have the category A and 150 with the category B. Is that possible, either by coding when i email them, or better, when wordpress gets them? ( The images goes to different sideblogs depending om categories).

  2. What do you mean by sideblog? Are you using wp-mu (which is now integrated with wp as of 3.0) You should be able to set up different image sizes for each blog that way. It would be a lot of work to integrate this possibility directly into postie.

  3. I use the widget sideblog. So if I send an Email with brackets in the subject , it gets the category that I want. Thats fine. Depending on the category, the post ends up on 2 different places in my blog. Either in main window or in a sidebar. When it gets the category that winds up in a sidebar, i would like the image width to be a little smaller.
Can I do that as a function in postie-functions perhaps? Like " If category is xxxxx, then make image width not mediumwidth but thumbnail"?.

  4. The way postie works right now, this is not possible, because postie looks at the body of the message before the subject, so it doesn't know anything about the category of the post until after reading the subject, and by that time, it has already handled any attachments.

  5. Thanks for your answer! Postie still is a great widget.
I will think more about an solution, and if I find one, I will post it for you.
Maybe a check om incoming mail, looking for a special category and substituting the width will do the trick.
