  1. Using Postie 1.4.2
    WP 3.3
when updating from 3.2.1 to 3.3 WP Dashboard kicked me out with following message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function _fill_user() in /home/ifcamed1/public_html/fireinmybones/wp-content/plugins/postie/postie-functions.php on line 2618

Could not access dashboard until I changed the name of the Postie folder.

Will there be a fix? Thanks

  2. I'm having the exact same problem after upgrading to WP 3.3

The only way I could recover access to the admin side was to delete the postie folder, leaving me without the ability of continue posting by email...

Is there any way to fix this even if it is temporary as we wait for the next release with the bug fix?

  3. Had the same on my blog. After installing WP 3.3 I received the same error page. I deleted the folder 'Postie' from the Plugin folder on my server and installed manually Postie version 1.4.3 (2011.12.12) on my server in de 'Plugin' folder. All settings were still there and the system is running fine again. Good luck!

See here the link to the new version of Postie 1.4.3 (2011.12.12):

    Rgds.
