    Jolene,

    Sorry for the somewhat cryptic error message. I will work on approving that. It looks to me like you do not have an account called 'admin'. You should change the admin username to the name of the account you use as administrator.

    I'm receiving the same error using 1.3.1. It was running fine with 1.3.0 but upgrading seemed to break it. There were no changes in the "Authorized Addresses" list nor was there a change in the admin username. Any other suggestions as to what can be checked?

    Forgot to mention that even disabling other plug-ins didn't help. Using WordPress 2.8.4.

    Wordpress version: 2.8.4

    Plugin version: 1.3.1 and I tested 1.3.0 and it didn't work.

    The email: frasesepoemasnaweb@gmail.com is the admin email and I also add this email to the Authorized Addresses but no luck.

    I also tried to post by sending with a different email, and before sending I had put the new email on Authorized Addresses.

    Sorry to post several times but I want to give you feedback as much as I can.

    I set to yes the option to Allow Anyone To Post Via Email and even that it didn't work, I received this message:

    I have the same problem, each sender is called "Invalid sender" since some hours.
    I switched back to 1.3.0. but it did not help
    Any ideas?

    Try deactivating and reactivating postie.

    I did, but it doesn' help

    I tried 1.2.3 -> 1.3.1 : doesn't work
    so I went back to 1.2.3 again

    By reseting settings to default it works, at least for me.

    my authorized email just received a message from postie saying that my authorized email is not authorized:

    I was having the same problem, but finally "Reset Settings to Defaults" cured it.

    I know this is an old thread, but I've just come across this problem with wp 3.3.1 and postie 1.4.3.

    It happens with long html messages. Short ones get accepted, but longer html messages get an unauthorised poster error. Any fix for this? Is this a known bug?
