  1. I found my way around the array bug and installed (manually, not as a widget) your great plug-in on my site <http://www.gnosiscafe.com/gcblog/>. I wanted the triangles for expanding and collapsing the years and months, but got two diamond-with-question-mark characters instead. So I switched to the + and - option, but as you can see, any category that is expanded now has three diamond characters instead.

  2. Annehill - I checked out your site, and it looks to me like there might have been a problem uploading files or something. Where do you have your site hosted, and what is your method of installing plugins? That is, do you use an ftp client to upload files? All of the characters for the collapsing and expanding are encoded in utf-8. Your blog is also using utf-8, so that should work. That is why I think it might have gotten messed up in file transfer. FTP usually has 2 modes of transfer - binary, and text. With utf-8 text, you might actually want to use the binary method.

    I hope that helps.

  3. I am trying to fix a special character issue in the Collasping Archives plugin. I am using wordpress 2.9.2 and the link is sniperdaytrading.com

For posts with ' or & or other characters, the title of the posts in the archives are showing up as the html special codes instead of the actual character it is suppose to be...I've spent hours trying to figure out why its not working, scouring the forums and FAQ but I don't see anything. Please please please help me out. thanks.

  4. ^^ well after I was going to try and do the workaround of eliminating ' " or & from my titles, I noticed that even if I just did an edit or quickedit and saved without making any changes, that the archive would correctly display the ' " and & characters. So just in case anyone else runs into the problem I had, that's how I fixed it...weird, it could be because I imported my blog posts from wordpress.com to wordpress.org that something wasn't registering correctly...idk , thanks anyways for the forum and the plugin =)
