  1. Hi support,

I set up postie to accept replies from registered users of my site, but the entire string of messages, including private email addresses, appears below their responses, making me have to edit each response manually.

I know there is the :start and :end tags that can be used, but making everyone learn that seems impractical?

Is there anything you can suggest for me to do to automatically put an :end tag before the "---original message---" text of email strings?

    thanks in advance.

  2. Update:

I think I just answered my own question, but please correct me if I am wrong.

I realized that I was able to edit the :end field to the format that gmail uses (I am using gmail for my main postie address) when placing text above the original message. I just revised it to ----- Original Message -----, and seemed to have worked when I ran a test reply.

Time will tell if it works when others reply. I am hoping gmail stays true to that format regardless of what email address is sending a reply.
